St Michael in the Hamlet - Baptisms Note:St Michael in the Hamlet was in the Parish of Walton on the Hill-this is not an error. Also the first baptism on the page says Liverpool Cemetery- which we know as Anfield, whose first burial was 1863????? This is a puzzle, unless another cemetery used to be known as Liverpool Cemetery. The Necropolis was opened in 1825- this at the time may have been locally known as Liverpool Cemetery.
